Heritage Solid styles are stiffer than our Soft Solid styles, but they're the same quality of leather.HeritageSolid styles will take a bit longer in time to soften, whereasSoftSolid styles will break-in and soften within the first hour of wear.
We simply want to offer different versions of our Solid styles, as we know and understand how much dedicated time it is to break them in (and that they're very stiff right out of the bag). The patina of both types of leather will be a bit different than each other, each having their own special tone of deep tan while still resulting in a beautiful hue of wear over time. The primary material is our shoes is vegetable-tanned water buffalo leather also made by artisans in a village nearby Athani.
They also feature a cushioned footbed, soft leather lining, stacked leather midsole, and a durable and grippy crepe rubber sole.

Yes, it feels like your toes are squished. However, really tight without your toes pushing hard against the front of the shoe is the right fit.
This style fits best when they start out tight. Over time, they'll mold to your feet, soften, and lightly loosen to make more room. If they're loose at first, they'll only get looser!
