These are in like-new conditions, but may have been tried on a couple to few times indoor and outdoors, which might result in a slightly softer, already-broken-in feel (score!). Sole condition varies from barely dusty to moderately dirty, as crepe rubber easily picks up dust. Upper condition per mate varies from like-new leather to slightly darker leather, as some pairs have spent time in the sun and outdoors, in general.

Order your true size. Size up if you’re a half size.
It’s ok if your foot is very close to the back edge when they’re brand new, as long as your heel isn’t hanging over. They’ll stretch and soften to make more room.
Mohinders are based on handcrafted, iconic designs from Northern Karnataka, India. Each pair is made by master shoemakers in the shoes’ town of origin- Athani Village. Centuries-old technical skill plus modern updates make them distinctive, wearable shoes that only get better with time.
The primary material is our shoes is vegetable-tanned water buffalo leather also made by artisans in a village nearby Athani.
They also feature a cushioned footbed, soft leather lining, stacked leather midsole, and a durable and grippy crepe rubber sole.
Why Sample Sales? 🤔
Sample Sales are our way of giving tried-on shoes and slightly-rejected QC shoes another chance. They're perfectly wearable, durable and are in like-new-condition, but cosmetically, they didn't make the cut for full-price.
Because of these reasons, they're marked down to a fraction of the price. Instead of tossing or recycling these, which involves a lot of waste and energy, we'd much rather see them on people's feet! And, not to mention, provide our shoes at a lower price point compared to our regular collections.
Break-In Your Pair of Mohinders to Make Them Uniquely Yours ✨
Some break in quickly, and some take a bit of time. Regardless, they do break in beautifully, developing a dark and rich patina, becoming softer, and form-fitting to your foot.
Handmade with perfect imperfections ✨
There can be slight variations in color, scars on the leather, and certain imperfections. Embrace the imperfections and know that most of them will diminish or disappear with wear and time. If something is really bugging you, let us know and we'll work something out.
